Litigation is an unfortunate, but often inevitable, by-product of conducting business today. Our staff will help you implement programs designed to limit your exposure to costly and time-consuming litigation. The hidden costs of litigation - the staff and management time lost from day-to-day business operations to attend to the necessities of a lawsuit - are expensive to any business.
Although we prefer to work with management to prevent litigation, we stand ready to enter the fray with little notice. If litigation becomes necessary we can provide you with experienced and aggressive representation and are prepared to immediately seek injunctive or other emergency relief if the situation requires. We have extensive experience in the federal and state court systems having skillfully and successfully pursued a number of cases to the Michigan Court of Appeals, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States
Supreme Court.
We handle most commercial matters including the efficient collection of outstanding receivables, real property disputes, pursuing or defending construction lien foreclosure actions, contract claims, seeking or defending against receiverships, alter ego/successor corporation liability, shareholder disputes, corporation and partnership dissolution and creditor's rights matters.
