Sandra is frequently involved in analyzing difficult financial circumstances. Her duties include assisting with initial client meetings, in-depth information gathering, securing, analyzing, and assembling documents necessary to make appropriate recommendations and implementing effective action plans. Sandra’s years of banking experience, her meticulous attention to detail, and ability to analyze financial data bring superior skills and knowledge to this process. Sandra maintains corporate and limited liability company documents for business clients, trust accounts and financial accounting for trust and estate clients, and as an indispensable member of the litigation team, performing legal research, and drafting complaints, answers, discovery materials, and motions.
Sandra has received certification in bankruptcy law through the American Bankruptcy Judicial Assistants, a national organization supported by the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges. The certification requirements include a qualifying examination, which covered topics such as substantial provisions of the Bankruptcy Code and Rules, Ethics, Legal Writing, and Legal Research. The American Bankruptcy Judicial Assistants Organization follows the criteria for the standards and guidelines as promulgated by the American Bankruptcy Institute.
Sandra received her A.S in Business Administration, cum laude, from Oakland Community College, her B.S. in business management from the University of Phoenix and her paralegal certificate from Oakland University. She is a member of the Legal Assistant’s Section of the State Bar of Michigan and a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute. She was previously employed in the office of the general counsel of LaSalle Bank Midwest (now Bank of America).
